Dr. Lee is a highly devoted and compassionate doctor, who is dedicated to provide the highest quality of care to his patients. At Jaseng, he treats spine and joint disorders and provides acupuncture, chuna, and herbal medicine. He strives to help under-privileged communities and has been volunteering since 2007 in a Nursing Home. Once a month, Dr. Lee travels from Incheon Airport to an Island located at Jangbond-do to provide acupuncture services.

Kim, Chel

Chel Kim is passionate about helping his patients using traditional medicine techniques. He was fascinated with the power of acupuncture and herbal remedies for various diseases in mainland China and came to the United States to receive an American license. Dr. Kim has been successfully treating patients at his private clinic and Jaseng’s San Diego branch. He has been incorporating his own clinical experiences with Jaseng’s unique systematic patient care approach to maximize patient satisfaction. Dr. Kim specializes in not only spine and joint conditions, but also internal medicine, neuro-psychological conditions, and vascular conditions.

Dr. Kim believes that his priority is to serve the patients and utilize his extensive clinical experience and educational background to support his patient’s care. Dr. Kim respects every patient as his own family member and always focuses on what each patient needs the most.

Kim, Wan

Wan Kim, a licensed acupuncturist who holds a master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, has worked as an acupuncture practitioner at Jaseng Center for many years. The purpose and mission of his healthcare profession is to provide his patients with the highest quality care available. As an honors graduate of South Baylo University in Anaheim, California, he excelled academically and clinically. He has been recognized for his clinical excellence and has participated in multiple extracurricular seminars to expand his knowledge on medical treatments. He also received additional training on diagnosing and treating spine and joint disorders at Jaseng. He specialized in acute and chronic pain, and herbal medicine and nutrition.

His patients benefit from his vast amount of experience and knowledge, which empowers him to personalize care to maximize the results. Each patient of his receives safe, gentle, and effective holistic care. He is passionate about his work, and his focus is on restoring and maintaining patient health and wellness.

Kim, Lauren S.

Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Kim is a highly motivated licensed acupuncturist with versatile talents and a sincere heart. Her vision as an acupuncturist is to give a helping hand to whomever is in need. After graduating from Yonsei University in Korea with B.A. degree of Sociology and English, she came to California to achieve the license of acupuncture in U.S. She obtained her master’s degree of acupuncture and oriental medicine at South Baylo University with outstanding academic records and various awards, such as student service award and the best clinic intern award. Besides her educational background, Dr. Kim’s most influential role models are her family. Raised in a family of oriental medicine doctors, acupuncture and herbal medicine naturally became the most trustworthy method of curing disease to her, and that firm belief now empowers her to treat patients with confidence.

Currently, she serves as the clinical director at Jaseng Wellness Clinic. Prior to working at Jaseng, she was trained professionally in one of her family acupuncture clinics as a weight loss consultant. She has extensive experience with obese patients that have internal complications, and she has become very familiar with the relationship between life-style and human diseases. Also, she used to work as a volunteer acupuncturist every week at Peace Clinic, Anaheim, for various ethnic groups.

Dr. Kim treats patients based on the concept of Mind-Body-Spirit as a whole. As “Jaseng” stands for self-healing, she believes that every human body has its own mechanism of healing. To her, healthcare professionals are facilitators that work on improving that healing process to optimize the patient’s health. Beyond medicine, she enjoys basking in the sun and hiking in nearby parks.

Jung, Peter

Dr. Jung graduated from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic and has been practicing chiropractic since 1998. He has taught several x-ray classes at a local vocational college for several years and conducted several seminars on nutrition and chiropractic. As a chiropractor, Dr. Jung places great emphasis on providing a thorough diagnosis of the patient's pain, discomforts, and needs. He is passionate about ensuring that patients receive the best possible care so that they can live a better and pain-free life. Dr. Jung also specializes in nutritional care and believes that many chronic pain and diseases can be avoided through proper nutrition intake, exercise, and healthy lifestyle.

Shin, Eunshik

Dr. Shin is a passionate chiropractor. He was awarded with the Dr. Lester McCoy Clinical Excellence Award from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in Whittier, California. He has demonstrated excellence in all aspects of diagnosis, treatment, and patient management. His extensive cross-disciplinary training goes far beyond the standards for chiropractic licensure. Before seeking his doctorate degree of chiropractic, he obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from The state of New York University, University at Buffalo. His approach to treatment is both holistic and evidence based using a wide variety of techniques, such as Diversified, SOT, Gonstead, Activator, ART (Active Release Technique), and the COX technique. His modalities include laser therapy, muscular therapy and deep tissue work, lymphatic drainage, and sports massage. Dr. Shin actively cooperates with other providers in various fields to better obtain his goal as a healthcare provider.

Kim, Sean

Dr. Kim received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He graduated from the University of Toronto in Canada and earned the Honor of Bachelor of Sciences degree in Toxicology/Pharmacology. He had served as one of school physical medical staff for Canyon High School for 9 years. He is currently a member of the Program Advisory Committee for ATI College.Dr. Kim is board-certified in chiropractic. He has extensive clinical experience while working in various successful chiropractic clinics in the U.S. He specializes in treating patients suffering from disc herniation. He also evaluates and treats a wide variety of other spinal dysfunction conditions and sport injuries.When it comes to holistic health and wellness, he can reliably and effectively treat the source of the problem. Not only does Dr. Kim do a great job on relieving pain, but also his patients have found Dr. Kim to be attentive and sensitive to what patients share and how he approaches problems. He believes that chiropractic care is a natural and holistic way to keep the body healthy.

Park, Hoon

Dr. Park received his Bachelor of Science in molecular biology at UC Irvine in 2009. He continued his studies at Southern California University of Health Sciences and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2012. Dr. Park completed his internship program at the Jaseng’s Fullerton branch. He has received extensive training on various chiropractic treatment protocols and X-ray diagnosis. Also, since his father practiced Korean Medicine for over 30 years in Korea, Dr. Park quickly developed a thorough understanding of Jaseng’s unique Tuina treatment protocols. Now, Dr. Park combines the Eastern and Western treatment protocols and develops a specialized treatment plan for each patient to ensure that every patient receives the best results.
