Woo Kyoung (Winston) Lee, Clinical Director of Jaseng Center is a highly devoted and compassionate doctor. Dr. Lee is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to his patients. He has great concern with the under privileged and has been volunteering since 2007 in a Nursing Home and travelled once a month by ship from Inchon Airport to an Island located at Jangbond-do to provide Acupuncture

Winston Lee earned his Ph.D. in Oriental Medicine at Kyung Hee University, Korea and obtained his Bachelor’s Degree from Semyung University, Korea. In addition, he treated all of the Spine & Joint Disorder conditions at Jaseng Hospital in Korea and provided Acupuncture, Chuna & Herbal Medicine. Dr. Lee was was also the designated provider to treat for Rheumatoid Arthiritis condition.

Dr. Lee does not just treat the condition; he strives to meet his patients’ needs with compassion and respect. Kim, Chel, L.Ac (Los Angeles)

Clinical Director

Chel Kim is a born-to-be Korean tradiational medical doctor. He has a big heart and passion toward his patients and his way of curing diseases. Dr. Kim studied traditional medicine at ChangChung University of Chinese Medicine in China. He was fascinated with the power of acupuncture and herbal remedies for various diseases in mainland China and came to the United States to further achieve the license in U.S..Dr. Kim has been taking care of his patients at his own private clinic successfully, and he is currently serving patients at Jaseng San Diego branch clinic. He incorporate his own clinical experiences with Jaseng’s unique systematic patient care methods synergetically to maximize the patient’s satisfactions towards the treatment he provides. Traditioanl methods of evaluating patient’s condition with his essential pulse diagnosis and interpretation of Western lab or radiology results based on his pulse analysis always enchant his patients. Dr. Kim is specialized not only spine and joint conditions, but internal medicine, neuro-psychological conditions and vascular conditions as well.

Kim, Lena, L.Ac (Irvine)

Clinical Director

Lena Kim, a Clinical Director of Jaseng Center Irvine branch, is very dedicated to providing safe, effective, and patient-centered care.Dr. Kim received her Master degree of Korean Traditional Medicine from Wonkwang University, Korea. She completed her four-year residency at Wonkwang University’s Korean Medicine Center with plentiful experiences as a clinical physician. Dr. Kim obtained her license specialized in Korean Internal medicine and sub- specialized in Neurology. Dr. Kim offers treatments in combination of Korean Traditional medicine and evidence-based medical knowledge.

Dr. Kim strongly believes that a quality education enables the doctors understand the human body. Her passion of introducing Korean Traditional Medicine to American society keeps her to study and research about all kinds of medicinal approaches. For her, patients are the best friends and best teacher in her life. Dr. Kim loves playing music, camping and traveling.

Wan Kim, a licensed acupuncturist who holds a master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine has worked as an acupuncture practitioner at Jaseng Center for many years. The purpose and mission of his healthcare profession is to provide his patients with the highest quality care available. As an honors graduate of South Baylo University in Anaheim, California, he excelled academically and clinically. He was recognized for his clinical excellence and participated in multiple extracurricular seminars to increase his knowledge and skills in various ways of treating patients. He also received extra training in the analysis and treatment of spinal and joint disorders at Jaseng Center, a specialization in the treatment of acute and chronic pain, a specialization in herbal medicine and nutrition.

His patients benefit from his broad spectrum of techniques which allow him to personalize care to maximize both comfort and results. From two days old to too old to admit, from a marathon runner to a TV series marathon watcher, each patient of his receives safe, gentle, and effective holistic care. Lauren S. Kim, L.Ac (Fullerton)

Soojin Oh is a highly motivated licensed acupuncturist with versatile talents and sincere heart. Her vision as an acupuncturist is to give a hand to people whoever needs with what she is gifted.After graduating from Yonsei University in Korea with B.A. degree of Sociology and English, she came to California to achieve the license of acupuncture in U.S. She obtained her master’s degree of acupuncture and oriental medicine at South Baylo University with outstanding academic records and various awards like student service award and the best clinic intern award. Besides the educational background, her best mentors are in her family. Raised up in the family of oriental medical doctors, acupuncture and herbal medicine naturally became the most trustful method of curing disease to her, and that firm belief now empowers her to treat patients with confidence.She has been appointed as clinical director at Jaseng Wellness Clinic. Prior to Jaseng Center, she was trained professionally in one of her family acupuncture clinics as a weight loss consultant. She has clinically experienced obese patients with other internal complications and becomes well-knowledge about external life style influencing internal human diseases. Also, she used to work as a volunteer acupuncturist every week at Peace Clinic, Anaheim, for various ethnic groups. She saw variety of people from diverse cultural backgrounds, and they all loves and becomes the fan of acupuncture and herbal medicine after the treatment. Positive feedback always makes her more initiative and progressive.

Kim, Sean D.C. (Irvine)

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Sean S. Kim received his doctor of Chiropractic degree from Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He graduated from University of Toronto in Canada earning an Honor of Bachelor Sciences degree in Toxicology/Pharmacology. He had served as one of school physical medical staffs for Canyon High School for 9 years. He is currently a member of Program Advisory Committee for ATI College.Dr. Kim is board-certified in chiropractic. He has extensive clinical experience while working in various successful chiropractic clinics in the LA and OC area. He specializes in treating disc herniated patients. He also evaluates and treats a wide variety of other spinal dysfunctional conditions as well as sport injuries.When it comes to holistic health and wellness, he is the man who can analyze and treat the source of the problem. Dr. Kim not only did a great job on relieving pain, but his patients have found Dr. Kim to be attentive and sensitive to what he hears and how he helps to prevent the problems. He believes chiropractic care is a natural and holistic way to keep your body healthy.

Choi, Cathy D.C. (Irvine)

Dr. Cathy Yoonhee Choi is a licensed Chiropractor and future Acupuncturist. She joined Jaseng in 2010 as a Chiropractic Intern, and is currently in charge of Chiropractic department at Jaseng San Diego branch. She received her Bachelor of Science at University of California, San Diego with degree in Cell Biology and Biochemistry. She engaged in her Masters training in Health Science with emphasis in Health Professions Education at Western Univeristy in Pomona, CA prior to receiving her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Southern California University. She is currently attending PCOM, the top Acupuncture school in US where she is interning at UCSD Cancer Center and Rady Children’s Hospital. Throughout her academic years, Dr. Cathy was actively involved in community services and volunteer work with Alpha Phi Omega (National Volunteer Organization), Collegiate Medical Volunteer at LAC+USC, Red Cross, and Healing Hands for Humanity. Her goal with each patient is to provide guidance to achieve patient’s maximum health potential. Her treatment encompasses both palliative and preventative care with Chiropractic adjustments and physiotherapeutic modalities in combination of therapeutic exercises and balanced diet. By incorporating the Western Medicine of Chiropractic with the Eastern Medicine of Acupuncture and herbs, Dr. Cathy will be ready to help charge her patients with the premium fuel of health. Hoon Park, D.C.

Doctor of Chiropractic

Dr. Hoon Park received his Bachelor of Science in molecular biology at UC Irvine in 2009. He continued his studies at Southern California University of Health Sciences and received his Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2012. Dr. Park completed his internship program at Fullerton Jaseng Center, where he met his professional mentor, Dr. Peter Jung. He has received extensive training from Dr. Jung in various chiropractic treatment protocols and X-ray diagnosis. Also, originating from a Traditional Korean Medicine family where his father practiced Traditional Korean Medicine over 30 years in Korea, Dr. Park quickly developed a thorough understanding in Jaseng’s unique Tuina treatment protocols during this time. Now, Dr. Park combines the Eastern and Western treatment protocols and develops a specialized treatment plan for each patient to ensure that each and every patient receives maximum treatment effects from his chiropractic treatments and also acupuncture treatments from his counterparts.
