Jepil Yoon, a director of Jaseng Center, a highly skilled Licensed Acupuncturist offers a wide range of interventions to his patients. His passion is to introduce Traditional Korean Medicine as the best treatment among Traditional Medicine.
His interest towards Traditional Medicine is attributed to his grandfather, who was an Acupuncturist in Daejeon, Korea, where he provided free services within the village.
Jepil Yoon earned his Bachelors and Master of Science Degree in Oriental Medicine from Semyung University, Korea. He spent an additional three years completing his Ph.D in Herbal Pharmacology at Kyung Hee University, Korea. In addition, he attended Jaseng Hospital in Seoul, Korea as a clinical resident to obtain his specialty license in physical rehabilitation.
After obtaining his licenses, he traveled to Sri Lanka in 2001 & 2004 to provide medical service and has volunteered in other regions such as Vietnam, Korea, Kenya and Ethiopia. While in Ethiopia, Jepil Yoon helped at EHNRI (Ethiopia Health and Nutrition Research Institute) for three years as a volunteer physician as well as a dispatch doctor from KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) where he treated patients and assisted the community to conduct research related to Ethiopian indigenous plants.
For leisure, he spends time with his family and enjoys golf, karaoke, ping-pong and tennis.
